If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the rental starts, the rental company has the right to invoice a 30% cancellation fee in arrears. If the cancellation is made less than 12 hours before the rental starts, the rental company has the right to invoice the entire rental price. The rental of rental equipment and supplies is paid in advance at the rental company unless otherwise agreed with Speed Life Oy.

The renter must prove their identity with a valid ID (passport, EU driving license, ID card). The renter is obliged to take care of the equipment as a careful person would take care of their own belongings and to exercise special care and caution. The renter undertakes to use the equipment only in the manner intended for it. The renter is liable for the full value of the rented product (in the case of snowmobiles, the deductible amount) until the equipment has been returned as agreed. The renter is obliged to compensate for any damage to the equipment and any lost parts and accessories. If the renter has caused damage intentionally or by failing to comply with the rental terms and conditions, he is obliged to compensate for the damage in full. The renter undertakes to comply with the traffic regulations in force in Finland. The renter is personally responsible for all damage caused. The rented equipment may not be taken outside the borders of Finland, unless this has been separately agreed in writing. The renter may not hand over the bicycle to a third party without a separate agreement with Speed Life Oy. A minor (under 18 years of age) may rent an electric-assisted bicycle and snowmobile with the consent of the guardian.

In the event of theft or damage, the renter must immediately contact Speed Life Oy and the police. Speed Life Oy is responsible for ensuring that the rented equipment has been regularly maintained and is technically in good condition at the time of rental. The rented equipment must be returned to the agreed location at the end of the agreed rental period. The lessor of the equipment has the right to terminate the rental agreement if it becomes apparent that the lessee is not complying with the terms of the rental agreement. If the equipment is returned after the agreed deadline, the lessee will pay an additional fee according to the price list. If the lessee returns the equipment earlier than agreed, he will not receive a refund of the rent paid. By making a reservation, the lessee agrees to comply with these rental terms.
