Rental Terms and Conditions - Cyclezone Rotorua Ltd

I acknowledge:

• That I have been authorized to rent the above bicycle.

• Bikes are maintained after every rental. It is my responsibility to check the bike at the store BEFORE setting out on any ride.

• That I am competent to safely ride the bicycle and will observe safe riding practices and obey all New Zealand laws. 

• Helmets are included in the rental and are always required to be worn whilst riding a bicycle. Other items of protective clothing such as gloves, elbow guards and knee guards are also recommended.

• That no bike rented from Cyclezone Rotorua Ltd is to be used at Skyline Gravity Park, or in any competition race, including but not limited to: Crankworx, 2W Gravity Enduro and Xterra.

• That bicycling is inherently dangerous, presenting a great number of risks, such as the risk of falling, colliding with other riders, encountering hidden obstacles or varying terrain, or the risk of injury from any failure of the bicycle or any of its components.

• That I freely and expressly accept all risks associated with bicycling including all risks of injury or death. 

• That the bicycle must be used in the range of intended use for example: Stumpjumpers are made for trail riding - no stunt riding (In accordance with warranty agreement). 

• I understand that I am responsible for returning all equipment as it was issued to me. I am responsible for the cost of any lost, damaged equipment and the cost of any repair. This can include but is not limited to theft of the bike, broken spokes, rims, bent rims, damaged frame, handlebars, saddle or other parts from misuse and/or crashes. This will be charged to my credit card.

• Safety critical repairs will be carried out by Cyclezone.

• The rental bicycle must be returned by the agreed time. If returned late, I will pay Cyclezone Rotorua Ltd an additional full day’s rental fee.

• That I am to provide Cyclezone Rotorua Ltd with credit card details and photo ID, for precautionary use only. I authorize Cyclezone Rotorua Ltd to charge the credit card for all  eventual repair or replacement costs in case of damage to the bicycle(s) during the rental period. 

• ON MY OWN BEHALF, AND ON THE BEHALF OF MY HEIRS, AS- SIGNS, AND PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, I HEREBY FULLY AND FOREVER DISCHARGE AND RELEASE CYCLEZONE, AND THEIR RETAILERS, VENDORS, SUPPLIERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SPONSORS, INSURERS, AND ALL OTHER PERSONS OR ENTITIES, FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIM, DAMAGE, LOSS, COST OR EXPENSE, ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM MY RENTAL AND/OR USE OF THE RENTAL BICYCLE
