We offer our own bicycle rental service, subject to the prices paid, according to the website prices advertised when booking. Mallorca Cycling Holidays has Public liability insurance in relation to the rental of bicycles whose insurance conditions are detailed by our insurance provided, Mapfre (emailed on request). The CLIENT assumes that he will care for the use of the bicycle and that he will not break the rules of circulation and traffic that are governed by Royal Decree 1428/2003, of November 21, which approves the General Regulation of Circulation for the application and development of the articulated text of the Law on traffic, circulation of motor vehicles and road safety, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 339/1990, of March 2. The CLIENT will be responsible for any damage that occurs to the bicycle derived from misuse and/or traffic infractions that are attributable to the during the hire period. 

Accidental damage insurance is mandatory. This insurance covers any accidental damage that may occur to the bike during the rental period. Minor superficial damages to the frame, wheels, saddle, tires, and components are considered accidental damages. However, it does not cover irreparable damage to components on the bike. In cases where the bike is misused, crashed, or poorly treated, the customer may be held liable for a repair charge of €250.00. For irreparable damage to frame or wheels a quote will be provided and a repair charge will be presented to the customer. Please note, a replacement bike will only be provided subject to availability and no refund will be given if a bike can not be provided if the customer is deemed responsible for irreparable damage to the bike during the hire period. The insurance fee is €15 per hire for up to a 7-day rental, and €20 per hire for rentals of 7 days or more. The customer assumes responsibility for the rented bike, and we are not liable for any accidents or crashes. If the bike is stolen due to inadequate security measures, the customer will be responsible for reimbursing the bike’s wholesale value.
