Ride Rarotonga
No Refunds for Early Returns, Late Pickups, or Down Payments:We do not offer refunds for early returns or late pickups, as resources are allocated and reserved once a rental period is booked. Additionally, down payments are non-refundable to ensure commitment and cover administrative costs. Refunds are also not provided for cancellations due to weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. However, customers may receive a refund with a minimum of 14 days’ notice prior to the rental start date.
Please ensure that the equipment is returned to the Ride store or made ready for pickup from the specified accommodation at the agreed-upon time. In the event of late returns, an hourly charge of $10 will apply until the equipment is returned.
The hirer is responsible for taking good care of the items rented from Ride. This includes helmets, locks, and any other accessories provided with the bike. If you encounter a puncture, there’s a repair fee of $29 plus a $10 call-out fee. Additionally, please note that damage caused by misuse or riding in conditions not suitable for the bike, such as saltwater exposure, may incur repair or replacement costs, which will be charged to your credit card.
Once you take the bike, it’s yours to care for. For added security, we suggest using a lock whenever it’s not in sight. Please remember that if anything happens to the bike or its accessories, such as theft, we may need to charge the replacement cost to your credit card.
