Bicycle rental is a service provided by "Flight Mode Valencia" with NIF: Y3478504K.
Flight Mode Valencia is the owner of the rental bicycles and equipment specified in this rental agreement.

The client is aware of and agrees to comply with traffic laws and regulations and is responsible for any damage caused (to themselves or others) as a result of an accident during the use of the bicycle. Flight Mode Valencia is not liable for any claims, fines, or penalties arising from the violation of these laws.
The client is required to lock the bicycles correctly at all times. To prevent theft, it is recommended to always secure the bike by its frame and wheel to fixed points.
In case of bicycle theft, the client is required to pay the total amount corresponding to 300€ (City Bike) or 1300€ (E-bike). A portion of this amount will be deducted from the deposit.
For each City Bike, as well as for each type of trailer, a security deposit of 50€ is required, which will be refunded upon return of the bike, once its condition has been verified. In the case of an electric bicycle (E-bike), the deposit will be 100€ for each electric bicycle. Additionally, a copy of the client's ID/driver's license will be required. The deposit is intended to cover any damage to the bike or failure to return rented accessories. Payment and deposit will always be made in full and in advance at the time of rental.
No refund will be issued in case of early return compared to the time agreed upon in the contract.
Late return of the bicycle/s will incur the payment of the corresponding fee.
The use of bicycles on sand is not permitted. Damage caused by sand will incur a surcharge of 200€ for City Bikes and 1200€ for Electric Bicycles.
After using the E-bike at night, it is mandatory to recharge the battery before returning the bike. Failure to do so will result in a penalty of 10€ for a discharged battery.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SECURITY DEPOSIT MADE WITH CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD:
When making a security deposit using a credit or debit card, this is a pre-authorization. This means that the deposit amount is temporarily blocked on your account but is not actually charged. Once the deposit is released by us, the amount may become available in your bank account. Please note that this release process can take 2 to 14 business days, depending on your bank.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
In case of renting more than one bicycle, the chosen insurance package and/or the Audio Guided Tour must be applied to all bicycles within the same reservation.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE (included in Valencia city):
In case of a breakdown/puncture, the client should simply send us a WhatsApp message to +34 611 671 652.
The roadside assistance service is available daily during store opening hours and is valid for all types of bicycles.
What to do in case of a mechanical problem or puncture:
Send a WhatsApp message to +34 611 671 652 reporting the problem.
Send your location.
You will receive directions to reach the nearest available bike shop in that area.
The client, if requested by the bike shop reached, must advance the cost of the repair, request the payment receipt, and present it upon return of the bicycles to obtain a refund. In the absence of the payment receipt, it will not be possible to proceed with the refund.
Should the client request personalized assistance without going to the bike shop indicated by us, a service fee of €50 will be charged (subject to availability at the time of request). Waiting times may vary from 40 to 90 minutes, depending on the area.
Please note: outside the city of Valencia, roadside assistance cannot be requested. Should it be possible to repair the problem outside the city of Valencia, the related cost will be entirely borne by the Client, and no refund will be issued. All costs of any nature incurred by the Client outside the city of Valencia will remain their exclusive responsibility and will not be reimbursed.
THEFT AND DAMAGE INSURANCE:
With theft and damage insurance, in case of bicycle theft, the client will only have to pay 50% of the bicycle's value, instead of the full amount (100%).

However, the theft or loss of the following parts/accessories are not covered by theft and damage insurance and the following prices will be charged:
Insurance services can be purchased online or directly in-store. If you forget to add one of the insurances to your bicycle/s during online booking, it is still possible to purchase it when collecting your bicycle/s in-store.
If you have not purchased Theft and Damage Insurance before renting the bicycle and the bicycle or its parts are stolen or damaged, the full price will be charged.
In case of significant damage to the frame that prevents the use of the bicycle (e.g., bent frame or unusable bike), the full value of the bicycle will be charged regardless of whether insurance was purchased or not.
RESERVATION CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION TERMS
Free Cancellation and Modification: You can cancel or modify your reservation free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled bicycle pick-up time.
Cancellation and Modification After Deadline: If the reservation cancellation or modification occurs after the 48-hour deadline, the full cost of the bike rental and contracted services will be charged, even if not utilized.
No Show: In case of a no-show or failure to notify cancellation, the full cost of the bikes and related services will be charged.
