GENERAL RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Contract Parties
The contract is concluded between the renter (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”) and Starbikes Conil SL (hereinafter referred to as the “Lessor”). By taking over the bicycle, a rental agreement is established. For online bookings, the Lessor’s online terms additionally apply. The full rental amount must be paid before the rental period begins. Digital acceptance or collection of the bicycle implies acceptance of these terms.
2. Condition and Use
The Customer confirms that the bicycle and accessories are received in proper working order, roadworthy, clean and free from defects.
Equipment:
• Road bikes: Garmin mount, spare tube, mini pump
• E-bikes: Battery, key, electric assistance system
Missing or damaged parts will be charged.
Use under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication affecting riding ability is prohibited.
Use outside the intended purpose may result in loss of coverage.
3. Repairs
Repairs will be covered by the Lessor unless the Customer is responsible. Damage caused by the Customer shall be borne by the Customer. Assistance outside the station depends on availability and may incur additional costs.
4. Accidents, Damage and Theft
Accidents, damage, loss or theft must be reported immediately. In case of theft or vandalism, a police report is mandatory.

5. Liability
The Customer is liable for damage, loss, theft, misuse or breach of contract. In case of total loss or theft, liability extends up to the current replacement value.
5a. Theft / Loss of Bicycle
Assessment is based on comparable market values. Accessories (GPS, locks, battery, tools etc.) will be charged separately. Protection packages do not cover theft unless explicitly stated.
6. Smart Protection, Deposit & Return
LIGHT (€10)
• Damage cover up to €350
• Cosmetic damage
• Final cleaning
• Mandatory deposit: €150 without insurance
Optional: Puncture protection kit €10
PLUS (€15)
• Damage cover up to €350
• Cosmetic damage
• Puncture protection kit
• Final cleaning
Mandatory deposit: €300 without insurance
GOLD (€20)
• Damage cover up to €350
• Cosmetic damage
• Puncture protection kit
• Final cleaning
• Pick-up / delivery service (if applicable)
Mandatory deposit: €350 without insurance
Not covered:
• Theft
• Gross negligence
• Alcohol / drugs
• Racing
• Off-road use
7. Return
The bicycle must be returned within the agreed time. Delays: one full rental day will be charged for each started day.

10. Cancellation
Until the day before: 50%
Afterwards / No-show: 100%
11. Safety & Rules
Guide instructions are binding. Helmet use is recommended and mandatory on guided tours. Riding without a helmet is entirely at the Customer’s own risk.
12. Data Protection
Personal data will only be processed for contractual purposes in accordance with GDPR regulations.
13. Final Provisions
Spanish law applies. Jurisdiction shall be the registered office of the Lessor, where legally permitted.
