RENTAL CONDITIONS :
ART 1 : The bicycles and accessories, at all time, remain the exclusive property of Holland Bikes. You accept full responsibility for the care of this equipment and are responsible for its damage or loss. You have 30 minutes from the beginning of the use of the equipment to report any malfunction, after which all repairs needed as a result of the use of the equipment will be attributed to you and may be subject to additional charges.
ART. 2 : The equipment is used at your own risk. You will release Holland Bikes of all liability in the case of injuries or damages to the user(s) of the equipment or to any other person or property. You agree not to make a claim against Holland Bikes for injuries or damages relating to bicycling or the use of this equipment.
ART. 3 : In case of theft or accident, you must contact Holland Bikes immediately, make a declaration to the local police and submit a copy to Holland Bikes.
ART. 4 : You have the option to subscribe to an anti-theft guarantee. This guarantee only applies in case of theft and upon submission of the police declaration referred to above. An excess payment may be required depending on the level of coverage selected. The guarantee does not cover for damages incurred during the time of rental. ART. 5 : It is forbidden to modify or carry out major repairs to the bicycles, to sub-rent or lend the bicycles, to carry a passenger other than an infant in a designated child seat.
ART. 6 : Our bikes are equipped with a chain lock that you shall use at all times when parking the bicycle. It is mandatory to attach the frame of the bike to a fixed object that cannot be moved or removed.
ART. 7 : All bikes rented must be returned to the same rental park as they were picked up from our shop located in Marriott Village.
ART. 8 : In the event of a breakdown on your bike and the impossibility of returning it to the rental point, you will have to attach the cycle by the frame to a sturdy object that cannot be moved or taken apart. You agree to photograph the precise information of its location and send all the details needed for its recovery to our team, by e-mail or telephone. You will then be offered another bike. Please note that we only operate in the Paris Peripherique area. For a pick up within 20kms outside of Marriott Village, we charge 20€ and beyond 20kms, the picking up of the bike will be charged 100€.
ART. 9 : You authorize Holland Bikes to use your credit card information to pay for the rental and to cover for potential damages and/or loss of the bike(s).
ART. 10 : The rental agreement terminates upon return of the bikes and after verification of their condition by a Holland Bikes agent.
ART. 11 : You have until 24hours before the start of your rental to inform Holland Bikes about any changes concerning your booking. Once you have entered the rental agreement, you will not be able to shorten the rental dates. If you wish to extend your rental, please contact your Holland Bikes shop in order to see if the bikes you have rented are still available.
Please be aware that Holland Bikes does not refund in case of anticipated returns. If you bring the bikes back before the end date of your booking, you will lose any benefits of special offers, if you no longer meet the conditions.
ART. 12 : All disputes arising in connection with the rental agreement shall be settled by the courts of Paris, France.

ART. 1 : Les vélos et accessoires loués sont la propriété de Holland Bikes et vous vous engagez à les utiliser avec soin. Vous déclarez avoir eu personnellement toute latitude pour vérifier le matériel.Vous disposez de 30 minutes à partir du début de l'utilisation du matériel pour faire état du dysfonctionnement imputable à Holland Bikes. Au-delà de ce délai, tout dysfonctionnement vous sera imputable et pourra faire l’objet d’une facturation.
ART. 2 : Vous êtes personnellement responsable de toute infraction au code de la route, et seul responsable des dommages corporels et matériels que vous causez à vous-même ou à autrui à l’occasion de l’utilisation du matériel loué dont vous avez la garde (Article 1383 et 1384 du code civil).
ART. 3 : En cas de vol ou d’accident, vous devez immédiatement contacter Holland Bikes, faire une déclaration aux services de police ou de gendarmerie et rendre une copie de la déclaration à Holland Bikes.
ART. 4 : Vous avez la possibilité de souscrire une garantie antivol. Cette garantie fonctionne uniquement en cas de vol et après avoir rendu la copie de la déclaration à la police susvisée. Le paiement d'une franchise peut être exigible en fonction du niveau de garantie choisi. La garantie ne couvre pas en cas de dommages au matériel. La liste complète des dommages et coûts de réparation y afférents est disponible via le lien ci-dessous.
ART. 5 : Il est interdit de modifier ou d'effectuer des réparations importantes sur les vélos loués, de sous louer ou de prêter les vélos, ou de transporter un passager autre qu’un enfant en bas âge dans un siège agréé.
ART. 6 : Nos vélos sont équipés d’un antivol à chaîne. Lors du stationnement du matériel, vous devez attacher le cycle par le cadre à un objet robuste ne pouvant pas être déplacé ou démonté.
ART. 7 : Les vélos loués et récupérés dans notre boutique au Village Marriott doivent être rendus dans cette même boutique de location.
ART. 8 : En cas de panne sur votre vélo et impossibilité de le ramener au point de location, vous devrez attacher le cycle par le cadre à un objet robuste ne pouvant pas être déplacé ou démonté. Vous vous engagez à photographier l'endroit précis de sa localisation et envoyer toutes les informations nécessaires à sa récupération à notre équipe par e-mail ou par téléphone. Un vélo d'échange vous sera alors proposé. Veuillez noter, que nous intervenons uniquement dans la zone Paris intra muros. Pour une prise en charge dans un rayon de 20kms en dehors du Marriott Village, nous facturons 20€ et au-delà de 20 kms, la prise en charge du vélo sera facturée 100€.
ART. 9 : Vous autorisez Holland Bikes à débiter votre carte crédit pour effectuer le paiement de la location ainsi que de régler d'éventuels frais de dommages ou de perte du matériel.
ART. 10 : Le contrat de location se termine après le retour des vélos et la vérification de leur condition par un agent Holland Bikes.
ART. 11 : Pour un changement de dates de location, vous avez jusqu’à 24 heures avant le début de votre location pour en informer votre magasin Holland Bikes. Il n’est pas possible de réduire la période de location après l’heure de prise en charge des vélos. Néanmoins, si vous souhaitez prolonger votre location, vous pouvez contacter votre magasin Holland Bikes avant ou pendant votre location et demander une prolongation, qui sera uniquement possible si les produits sont disponibles.
Attention : Holland Bikes ne rembourse pas en cas de retour anticipé. Nous vous conseillons de réserver la période minimale et de prolonger par la suite, si vous le souhaitez. Si vous restituez les vélos de façon anticipée, vous perdez le bénéfice de toutes offres spéciales dont vous ne remplissez plus les conditions. Dans ce cas particulier, il est possible que la location vous coûte plus cher
ART. 12 : Tout litige lié au contrat de location sera de la compétence du Tribunal de Paris, France.

Liability Release for MCVI
In consideration of my bicycle(s) rental with HOLLAND BIKES, acting for myself, and my child(ren)* if applicable (collectively, the "Child"), I hereby agree as follows:
(*for the purpose of this BICYCLE RENTAL RELEASE FORM, is considered as a child (i) every person who is under 18-year-old and (ii) every person who is, in his/her country of residence OR in the country he/she has the nationality, considered as a minor.)
1. I am aware that the bicycles are rented by Holland Bikes,which is independent from MVCI holidays france and from the marriott village d’ile-de-france resort.
MVCI and the marriott village d’ile-de-france resort are not involved in this rental contract and make no assurances, representations or warranties with respect to the bicycles rented by holland bikes, their condition or their use
As a consequence:
- For myself and my Child, my heirs, spouse, successors and assigns, I hereby release and forever discharge MVCI, MVCI France SAS, Marriott Vacations Worldwide Corporation, MVW US Holdings, Inc. , their respective subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, the "MVCI Entities"), and their respective officers, members, agents and employees from any and all actions, costs, suits, demands, claims, damages, losses and liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees) of any type or kind whatsoever, including but not limited to claims of negligence, arising out of or caused when biking. I assume such risks on my own for myself, my Child, my heirs, successors and assigns.
- I hereby agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless MVCI Entities, and their respective officers, members, agents and employees from and against any and all actions, costs, suits, demands, claims, damages, losses and liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees) of any type or kind whatsoever arising out of or caused when biking
2. Neither my Child nor I have any existing medical condition that could worsen or result in further injury (to myself or to others) as a result of using bicycles.
3. I recognize the risks of injury or harm which my Child or I may suffer when biking.
4. I understand that the rented bicycles may not be equipped with child restraining devices (e.g., child seats), and I hereby accept sole responsibility for providing, installing and removing any such seat(s) for my Child.
5. If applicable, I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of the Child or I have been given responsibility for the care of the Child by his or her parent or legal guardian. I agree and acknowledge that MVCI can rely on my representation that I am the parent or legal guardian of the Child or have been given responsibility for the care of the Child by his or her parent or legal guardian.
By Accepting the terms and conditions, I hereby acknowledge having fully read and understood
the safety rules below:
- We draw your attention on the fact that all sport activities are more or less risky. By renting a bicycle and biking you accept all the related risks.
- Please get a physical to make sure you are healthy before you start biking.
- Always warm up before every sport practice.
- Take time off. Plan to have at least 1 day off per week for a particular sport to allow the body to recover.
- Bikers, and in particular the Child must wear appropriate and properly fit protective equipment such as gloves, pads (elbow, knee, wrist), and helmets. Child should not assume that protective gear will prevent all injuries while biking.
- Stretching exercises after sport can increase flexibility and recover efficiency.
- Do not hesitate to take breaks if you feel like. Rest periods during efforts can reduce injuries and prevent heat illness.
- Stop biking if there is pain.
- Avoid heat injury by drinking water before and during effort; decrease or stop practices biking high heat periods.
Bike usage is not permitted after 9.30pm and must be locked on the assigned stand appropriately.
The MVCI team
