Teri Bikes

E-bike / Bicycle Loan Agreement

When allocated an e-bike or bicycle I understand and agree to the following terms and conditions of use with Teri Bikes:

1. I am responsible for the security of any Teri Bikes bicycle while in my possession. I will take care of the bicycle that I am provided with, locking it up securely as directed whenever it is left unattended with the lock provided.

2. I will not abuse the Teri Bikes bicycle loaned to me; in particular, I will not use a Teri Bikes bicycle for racing, mountain bike riding, stunt or trick riding or for any purpose other than cycling to and from a destination.

3. I am responsible for monitoring the maintenance of any Teri Bikes bicycle loaned to me. I will maintain the bicycle that I am provided with in a safe and roadworthy condition for the period of the loan by keeping the bike clean and tyres inflated. If a fault develops and I am unable to keep the bike in a safe and roadworthy condition, I will return the bicycle to Teri Bikes, if a repair is required parts will be charged at trade price.

4. I will let Teri Bikes know if for any reason the bicycle is not being used. If the bicycle is lost or stolen, I will report this to the police and to Teri Bikes as soon as possible. I will take photographs to help Teri Bikes provide evidence of forced theft.

5. Teri Bikes does not insure the users of the bikes provided. Teri Bikes is not responsible for any injury or any loss or damage to any property or to any person resulting from my use of a Teri Bikes bike. I take full responsibility and will secure any such insurance I require or feel appropriate.

6. I will ensure that the bike and accessories are returned in a clean, roadworthy and working condition.

7. I agree to not allow any person under the age of 18 years old ride the bike and will ensure anyone else using the bike can ride a bicycle safely.

8. I understand and agree that prior to receiving the bike, it was in full working order and has all maintenance checks required.

9. I agree to Teri Bikes maintaining personal information provided by me for the sole purpose of maintaining my membership of the e-bike membership Teri Bikes scheme and communicating with me about services and activities organised by Teri Bikes.

I agree to complete surveys on my use of the bikes as required by Teri Bikes to provide feedback to enable the improvement and development of the project.
