Terms and conditions Allure Bike Rental.

1. The bicycles and accessories, at all time, remain the exclusive property of Allure Bike Rental (henceforth ABR). You accept full responsibility for the care of this equipment and are responsible for its damage or loss. You have 30 minutes from the time of delivery of the equipment to report any malfunction, after which all repairs needed as a result of the use of the equipment will be attributed to you and may be subject to additional charges.
   
   
   

2. The equipment is used at your own risk. You will release ABR of all liability in the case of injuries or damages to the user(s) of the equipment or to any other person or property. You agree not to make a claim against ABR for injuries or damages relating to cycling or the use of this equipment.
   
   
   

3. In case of theft or accident, you must contact ABR immediately, make a declaration to the local police and submit a copy to ABR.
   
   
   

4. ABR offers a damage insurance which will cover any damage to the bicycle up to € 500,00. Even with this insurance you will always remain responsible for payment of all costs for repairs and replacements above € 500,00. This insurance does not cover theft.
   
   
   

5. It is forbidden to modify the bicycles, or carry out major repairs, and to sub-rent or lend the bicycles. Fitting of your own accessories on ABR bicycles is possible, but subject to explicit approval of ABR. Fitting will be carried out by ABR staff immediately upon delivery of the bicycle(s).
   
   
   

6. You are fully aware of all risks involved in cycling. You are required to use the standard protective equipment (e.g. a helmet) and will refrain from cycling when under influence of alcohol, drugs etcetera. You will at all times use the ABR bicycle(s) responsibly.
   
   
   

7. For each rented bicycle ABR asks for a deposit of € 300,00 (per bicycle). This deposit will be charged by a blockage on your credit card and will be released after the rental period is over. In case of any damage it will be deducted from the deposit.

   
   
   

8. You authorize ABR to use your creditcard information to pay for the rental and to cover for potential damages and/or loss of the bicycle(s).
   
   
   

9. When a booking is made through internet/website the rental dates are fixed, rental times (of delivery and pick-up) are tentative. ABR will do its very best to meet the requested hours but may deviate. Definitive times of delivery and pick-up of the bicycle(s) will be communicated to you one week before the rental period starts.
   
   
   

10. ABR asks for a down payment for each booking/rental. All rentals may be cancelled untill four weeks before the agreed delivery time and date, and ABR will then refund the down payment.Only an administration fee of € 25,00 will be charged. When rentals are cancelled within four weeks before the agreed delivery time and date ABR will not refund the down payment.
    Please be aware that unanticipated (early) return/pick-up of the bicycle(s) during the rental period will not entitle you to any refund.
    
    
    

11. Any dispute arising between you and ABR will be settled in accordance with Spanish law, and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alicante, expressly waiving any other.

Privacy Statement Allure Bike Rental.

Allure Bike Rental (henceforth ABR) expressly respects your privacy. ABR is therefore fully compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

ABR processes the personal data you communicate to ABR when renting a bicycle.

1. Legal basis for processing your personal data.
   
   ABR needs specific personal data necessary to fulfill the obligations of the rental contract. With filling in the required personal data you explicitly consent to ABR using and processing your personal data.
   
   
   

2. Principles for processing of your personal data.
   
   ABR only collects personal data that are adequate and relevant.
   
   
   

3. Your rights under the GDPR.
   
   ABR will not automatically erase your name, surname and email address. These will only be used by ABR to send news and (personalised) promotional mails.
   ABR respects your right to have these data erased, and will do so immediately when you send ABR an email (to: info@allurebikerental.com) requesting ABR to erase all remaining data.
   
   
   

4. Security.
   
   ABR emphasises that your data are safe in the hands of ABR. ABR will under no circumstance share your data with any other (third) party

5. Which data are processed by ABR.
   
   The following data are processed/required by ABR.
   a. your name, surname and email address (see paragraph 3)
   b. your creditcard/bank information
   c. the address/hotel during your stay in Spain and mobile phone number (in order to be able to deliver and pick-up the bicycle(s), and to reach you when necessary)

   d. Measurement to set your bicycle to your size
