Terms and Conditions
Bike hire bookings are subject to
our terms and conditions. By proceeding with a booking and hiring a bike from
us you agree that these will apply.
Conditions of hire
Valid ID must be left in the form
of a credit/debit card or photo ID.
The hirer is responsible for the
security and condition of the cycle whilst in their care. Any damage or loss will
be covered by the hirer.
The bike must be returned on time.
A charge will be made for late returns.
Helmets must be worn at all times.
The Highway code must be observed.
The Hirer is responsible for their
own safety at all times.
A puncture repair kit is provided
and punctures are the responsibility of the hirer.
In the event of a breakdown, other
than the result of your misuse, we will use reasonable endeavours to make
roadside repairs or provide a replacement bike.
Under 18s must be accompanied by
an adult.
Cancellation policy
We have a
48 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your booking before a 48 hour notice
period of the activities start date you are entitled to a refund. No refunds
will be given if the 48 hour notice period has ended. If your cancellation
falls before a 24 hour notice period of the activities start date your
booking can be rearranged but not refunded. No refunds will be given due to
rain or bad weather unless we cancel the activities ourselves due to
extreme weather such as extreme wind and thunder.
If we need to cancel your booking
we will offer you a full refund or with your consent, transfer your booking to
another date.
Hire Slots
Bikes can be hired for a full day or multiple days. The pick up time is 10am.
Day and afternoon hire must be
returned by 4pm.
Multiday hire must be returned by
4pm on the final day of the hire. Please keep the bikes locked securely inside.
Bookings
Bookings are taken directly
through our website or in person at the hire centre. Hire fees are to be paid
for at the time of booking. Bikes are
only confirmed once payment has been made.
Booking guarantee
Your credit or debit card details
will be requested to purchase your hire. If booking online, your credit or
debit card details will be requested to complete your purchase and an email receipt
will be generated. Full payment, as itemised, shall be debited and your account
statement will identify the transaction as "LDNPA Bookings".
