These bikes are freshly tuned and refurbished by our in-house mechanics and ready to hit the trails the moment you get your hands on them. To view, demo, and purchase a bike, you must book an appointment at the YT MILL Forchheim, with a maximum of two bikes per reservation. YT Insider Sale Terms and Conditions

YT Insider Sale

1. Scope

(a) All offers of the Insider Sale are subject to these Terms and Conditions (see also: Section 13).

(b) The offer is intended for Consumers (Article 13 of the German Civil Code [BGB]) and Entrepreneurs (Article 14 BGB), however in both cases solely for End Customers.

· Consumer means every natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes being predominantly neither within the scope of his/her commercial nor that of his/her independent professional activity.

· An Entrepreneur is any natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in exercise of his/her commercial or independent professional activity.

(c) The customer’s terms and conditions shall not apply even if we have not separately objected to their application in individual cases.

(d) At the time of purchase, our bicycles do not contain the equipment features for use on public roads as provided for by the German Road Traffic Licencing Regulations [StVZO]. Therefore, we explicitly declare that our bicycles are not suitable for use in road traffic.

2. Reservations

(a) The reservation of your selected bicycle via the booking tool serves to schedule and block sales to other customers, however, it does not constitute a binding offer to conclude a contract.

(b) If you are unable to keep your appointment or if you wish to cancel your reservation, please e-mail outlet@yt-industries.com immediately or at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Purchase

(a) The purchase contract is concluded with YT Industries GmbH.

(b) As all bicycles offered have individual wear and tear or defects, each purchase is unique in the sense of a specific obligation.

(d) Only persons who have made a reservation of the respective bicycle and who are at least 18 year old are entitled to purchase on site. Minors are entitled to purchase if their legal representative (legal guardian) consents in writing to the purchase on site.

(e) Following the test ride and a visual inspection performed by the interested party, the purchase (see Section 5) can be completed at the YT Mill from the YT team responsible at site.

(f) The bicycles shall remain our property until full payment has been effected.

4. Prices & Conditions

(a) All prices are final end prices in Euro including VAT.

(b) Additional employee discounts or special conditions are not granted. The offer cannot be combined with other special offers, promotions or YT vouchers.

5. Payment

(a) Payments can be made with all standard credit, debit and EC cards bearing the VISA, V PAY, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club or Union Pay logos as well as NFC payments via Google or Apple Pay. Cash payment is not possible.

(b) Once the payment process has been successfully completed, you will receive a payment receipt at the YT Mill. We will send you the original invoice by e-mail within a few days.

(c) YT Industries GmbH shall transfer the bicycled to the buyer concurrently against payment of the purchase price by the buyer. Partial payments are not accepted.

6. Purchase quantities

There are no restrictions on the number of bicycles that can be purchased. However, a maximum of two bicycles can be reserved per appointment. We explicitly refer to Section 1 of the YT Insider Sale Terms and Conditions.

7. Shipping & Collection

(a) It is not possible to ship the bicycles.

(b) All bicycles from the YT Insider Sale can only be collected in person at:

(d) Payment has to be made at the YT Mill in Hausen prior to picking up / collecting the bicycle. For payment modalities, please see Section 5.

(e) A test ride is possible on site. Helmets are compulsory! We expressly point out the rental conditions and the exclusion of liability for test rides.

8. Scope of purchase & service

(a) Upon collection of the bicycle, every buyers receives a tool set from YT for dismantling add-on parts for transportation. In addition, we offer free of charge to adjust the spring and lever elements individually to the buyer.

(b) Of course, all electric bicycles are supplied with the original charger packs.

(c) All bicycles are in a fully assembled and ready-to-ride condition. However, the mileage of the electric bicycles indicated in the product description may increase slightly due to test rides (inspections, test rides by customers).

(d) The following is not included in the purchase price:

Pedals.
Lighting and reflectors. The equipment of the bicycles at the time of delivery / handover does not comply with the applicable provisions for participation in road traffic. Therefore, these models may not be used in road traffic inter alia due to the missing lighting equipment.
Packaging and shipping materials such as a bike box.

9. Returns / Withdrawal

All sales of Insider Sale bicycles are binding and take place exclusively at the business premises of YT Industries GmbH. An inspection of the reserved bicycles are possible at the booked appointment in order to inspect the final conditions of the bicycles. The duration of the appointments shall not exceed one hour. A return or replacement after conclusion of the purchase is not possible. The regulations on distance selling shall expressly not apply.

10. Warranty & Guarantee

(a) We grant Consumers the same guarantee and warranty on our bicycles from the Insider Sale as when buying a brand-new YT bicycle. You can find all provisions in the GTC under Section 8 at our YT Website [1].

(b) For Entrepreneurs who are End Costumers, the purchase shall be concluded under exclusion of any warranty.

11. Editorial errors & notices of defects

(a) YT Industries GmbH shall not be liable for any errors on the booking platform and reserves the right to cancel appointments or positions if necessary. YT Industries GmbH shall inform the persons concerned of any changes without any delay.

(b) For the exclusion of any defect rights in case of obvious material defects, the explanations to Section 9 c GTC, i. e. a two-week notification period. You can find these at the YT Website.

12. Data protection & scope of GTC

(a) For the Insider Sale, these "Insider Sale Terms and Conditions" shall take precedence over the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of YT Industries GmbH. For all other general regulations, please refer to these GTC.

(b) The YT Industries GmbH Data Protection Provisions shall also apply.

13. Final provisions

(a) Oral ancillary agreements to the purchase contract shall not have any effect.

(b) Any amendments to the contract must be made in writing. This shall also apply to the amendment of this written form requirement.

14. Severability clause

Should any provisions of the contract be or become invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, or should this contract prove to be incomplete, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this contract. In place of the invalid, unenforceable or missing provision, such valid and enforceable provision shall be agreed between the parties which they would have agreed, taking into account the economic purpose of this agreement, if they had known of the invalidity, unenforceability or absence of the respective provision when concluding this agreement.
